Device and OOB Enabler Statuses Guide

Introduction 

This guide provides an overview of device statuses and OOB Enabler statuses in relation to their corresponding scenarios. Familiarize yourself with these statuses to effectively monitor and troubleshoot device connectivity and OOB functionality. 

Status Scenarios and Explanations 

The Device Status and OOB Enabler Status in the table below should reflect the corresponding statuses highlighted in the following screenshot:

- Device Statuses  

  1. Online: Device is online and operating normally 
  2. Offline: Allxon Agent on the device is either closed or the device is shut down* 
  3. Abnormal:
    Including three scenarios:  
    1. Unknown: Allxon Agent malfunction 
    2. Network error*  
    3. Forced shutdown*  
  4. Power ON: Device is powered on* 
  5. Power OFF: Device is powered off* 

💡Note: The asterisks (*) above indicates that the status is detected by the Edge Device Power ON/OFF Detection function. 

- OOB Enabler Statuses 

  1. Online: OOB Enabler is operating normally 
  2. Abnormal: The OOB Enabler has abnormal connectivity due to: 
    1. Cable disconnected  
    2. Internet and WIFI connectivity issues

  • Use the command "allxon-cli log" to access the log files. 
  • Use the command "allxon-cli diagnose" to initiate network environment detection.
