How to Push File to the Edge Devices

Introduction

The Push File feature on Allxon Portal enables fast, one-time file transfers by delivering files directly to the “/tmp” folder on edge devices. For versioned deployments, installations, or scheduled updates, switch to Allxon OTA Updates feature.

1. Head over to the Device Details Page.
   
2. Click on the Push FIle Tab under the Action Section.
   
3. Drag and drop a file, or click to select a file to push to the edge device and start the file push process. 
   
   
4. The file will be pushed to the edge device. You can let it continue in the background and check the result later in the Activities tab.
   
5. Once the file is successfully pushed, a success message will appear.
