How to Retrieve Device Logs from Edge Devices

Introduction

The Get Device Logs feature enables easy access to crucial information from your edge devices for monitoring and analysis. It allows you to efficiently retrieve and review essential logs.

  1. Head over to the Device Profile page, 
  2. Click on the Actions button located in the upper right corner, then click on the Get Device Logs button from the dropdown menu.

    1. Alternatively, go directly to the Monitoring Tab. Navigate to the Get Device Logs section, if there are no device logs shown, you will need to head over to the Group Settings Page by clicking on "Edit Group Settings."
  3. Add a new log setting by clicking on the "+" button. Then, set up the Log Package Name, Log Path and optionally enable scheduling to get device logs regularly. Learn more on How to Set Up Device Log
  4. After adding the log settings, return to the Get Device Logs window and click the Get Now button to retrieve your device logs. You can also click on the icon to download log files. The device logs will be available for download for 30 days.
